We just retired this old boy at 9 1/2 years of age after breeding his last set of cows this summer. He came off grass at 2200 lbs. and still very active with Great Feet. In fact, he is in the top 3% of the breed for foot score, top 4% of the breed for Docility, top 5% for scrotal and top 10% for $ Maternal. He has left us and a lot of other folk some great daughters that stay in the herd.

Thick, Deep, & Moderate.  A high efficiency bull we purchased in the 2015 Midland Bull Test sale.  His daughters are beautiful cows that are deep and broody with excellent teats and udders.  He is also in the top 10% of the Angus breed for combined Foot Score.  His progeny won our steer test this year at Simplot and were weighed on test at 980 lbs. and converted at 5.11 lbs. of feed. Again, starting their feed intake measurement at a heavy weight, with a live kill weight of a little over 1500 lbs.   In the top 10% of breed for Weaning weight, Yearling weight, and top 15% for $ Weaning.

944 was one of our early sires to be tested and progeny proven efficient.  He is a very moderate framed, easy fleshing bull who's daughter have a lot of shape, are nice udder'd with good sound teats, great disposition and excellent feet.  He continues to bring in some of our top calves.  We still use this bull beasause of the quality of this daughters and consistency in passing on efficiency.

His calves have a lot more pop at weaning than his EPD’s show. His heifers are looking outstanding.

This was one of the top Efficiency bulls with an RFI of -4.61 in the 2016 MJB Efficiency test.

He is as thick and deep as they come with excellent feet. We will have a large group of his sons in the 2020 December sale.

A high efficiency bull from The Green Springs Bull Test in Missouri.  He is a maternal brother to Spur.  His progeny are quiet, daughters are very nice udder'd and teated with great feet.   Extremely high marbling sire.

3545 was one of our top Efficiency bulls in our 2014 test and has gone on to prove himself as one of the top Efficiency sires in the Angus breed. He sires a lot of thickness and depth, great feet and stifle. In the top 15% of breed for proven weaning weight, docility, and top of breed for $ Maternal and $ Beef. His steers were our top efficiency sire group in our 2016 steer test at Simplot.

An extremely deep thick bull that was one of the High Efficiency bulls we purchased out of the 2016 Midland Bull Test Sale. He is in the top 1% of the breed for Calving Ease Maternal as well as the top 15% of the Angus breed for $Maternal.

One of our top efficiency bulls in our 2018 sale. He came of test at 1247 lbs. with a feed conversion of 4.9 lbs. feed/lb. of gain. He also had a -3.57 RFI.  His mother has been one of our top producing cows.  “789” calves show a lot of thickness and shape to their ribs.

His first son’s will sell at Bowman this spring.
