THE RANCH

The Badland Ranch is located in the south west Badlands of North Dakota. This is a 2nd generation ranch from a multi generation cattle family. Victor and Darcy (Mcdonnell) Goni, took over the ranch in 2018 and continue to operate it under the genetic disciplines McDonnell Angus has always strived for.

This is a family owned and operated ranch we all pitch in where needed and are grateful for the helpful hands of friend and neighbors, therefore our cows and bulls have to be easy to handle. The rough terrain of this country requires our cattle to move for feed /water and be surefooted.

The native grasses in the badlands are powerful and allow the cattle to express themselves even during the drought years. There are about 600 acres of dry land alfalfa and grass hay which supports our operation during the winter months.

These spring born bulls sell at our spring sale the first Wednesday in May in Bowman, ND.
